Concerned citizens proffer solution to insecurity in North

Concerned citizens proffer solution to insecurity in North

Concerned citizens from the North have cried out to the Federal Government, seeking and recommending private security experts with the technical intelligence to efficiently combat crime in the area, saying the activities of the Nigeria Police Force needs to be supplemented.

This is coming on the heels of increase in kidnapping, car snatching, robbery, drug and human trafficking among others in the Northern part of the country.

In the appeal, the group, comprising indigenes of northern states residing in Abuja, said security experts and crime fighters such as Ali Kwara Crime Control Team, known for their effort in containing crimes within cities in the north, should be empowered and reinforced by the government.

The group spokesman, Babangida Usman, a trader from Kano, said: “President Muhammadu Buhari should explore the skills and strategies of Ali Kwara in combating crime and insecurity in the northern region.”
